Whole note ties across D.S. continue to play after return
I have a quarter note tied to four whole notes also tied together. There is a D.S. after the first whole note and when it return to the Sengo, the whole notes continue to play. I have somewhat mitigated the problem by eliminating the tie in question but that makes for readability issues when printing and playing.
I'd like to have it play back correctly as I use MuseScore for practice.

As far as I can tell, your notation doens't make sense - the measure after the DS can never be reached. In any case, the playback feature of MuseScore does not currently understand ties across repeats. But it will always do more reasonable things with correct notation; it struggles more with non-standard roadmaps such as this appears to be.
