Problems with Fluid Clarinet
Win 2.0.3 / Win 7 / Win 10.
There seem to be problems with the Fluid Clarinet. A mixture of clicks on note-off, unpleasant overtones and distortion. It occurs no matter what form of note-entry you use (computer keyboard, on-screen piano, external keyboard) and is also audible on playback.

Please search this forum for the existing discussions of the issue and the progress being made, including new versions of a soundfont you can download and test.
The Clarinet was the first instrument to go on the replacement list due to access to reasonable quality samples from the University of Iowa.
The problems with the clarinet in FluidR3 Mono are all at sample level, hence the decision to replace them.
The replacement instrument exists as a standalone soundfont at the moment, the development of which is still taking place.
