Electric Guitar Tone
Perhaps in the next version of Musescore, you could try to improve the guitar tone for electric guitar, or possibly have an array of different tones you can choose from, such as a clean tone for one song, and then you would be able to use a more distorted tone in another song.
Anyway, the biggest thing that I'd like to be improved in Musescore is the guitars. If you could improve the guitars in the program, I'd be very content.

You can always use a different soundfont to improve the playback quality.
And there already *are* a variety of guitar sounds to choose from in the default soundfont. You choose the specific sound in the Mixer window. There should be the full set of standard GeneralMIDI sounds to choose from nylon, steel, jazz, mute, overdrive, distortion, harmonics. But indeed, a different soundfont might include more options still, or have better sounds for these basic selections.
