Nightly Builds - Barlines

I've been wanting to talk about this for awhile, but I always waited because I felt that a new Nightly Build would eventually fix this problem. Barlines. A major problem that's been around since Musescore 3.0 builds were introduced were barlines, and they still haven't been fixed. They aren't able to be spanned or edited in any way, shape, or form. Again, I'm using the absolute latest version of the Musescore 3.0 Nightly Builds. Anyone can try this out, and it'll be the same result. I'm not entirely sure why this hasn't been fixed yet. Maybe it deals with something too technical that I can't understand fully, but I am still surprised to see this in every single build so far. It's honestly the only major problem, the updates themselves are fine (with only a couple minor errors here and there), it's just the barlines.
