Displaying / showing note on mac os10.6.8
Note and stuff a displaying as a box or weird symbol on mac
-there is no way i will delete any font on my mac, so is there any OTHER way to use musescore without deleting some useful font???

I'm having the same problem, it will work on one computer but has strange box symbols instead of notes on the other. I dont think its related to font though
As far as I know, there is no other way to make it works except removing the broken fonts on your Mac.

this is a Font problem on the Mac, not something that MS is doing?

You mean you followed the instructions in the linked article and it reported no problems at all with any fonts?
