Highlight range of instrument on Piano keyboard.
Would it be possible for the on-screen piano keyboard to highlight in some way the note range of the currently selected staff, perhaps by using the existing pitch range displayed in "Staff properties"?
In Drumkits this feature would work slightly differently. Here it would highlight only notes which have a sample attached. This would allow it to display the discontinuous ranges of kits such as Orchestra, Marching Snare, Marching Bass etc.

I like this idea.
For drums, it might be hard. The information about the sound is quite "far" from the keyboard in term of code. But the range could indeed be possible. Any UI idea? how would you should the range?

Perhaps the range could be shown by shading out non-playing notes in some way?
