It keeps restoring the default volume, even if I changed it while I was doing something. If I close MuseScore and open it again, the volume would be back to the way it was before I changed it.
I'm marking this as "by design" because currently in 2.0.3 and 2.1-dev and 3.0-dev 4a3864d the "Set as Default" button will do as it is labeled. So if user want to remember the current settings, the user will have to press that button.
