What should i do on with my finished compositions??

• Oct 6, 2011 - 13:39

I'm 14 years old, have made 5 piano etudes, 2 preludes for the piano, a prelude for 2 pianos, a piano concerto and the first part(introit) of my experimental Requiem. but should i just leave the compositions sitting in files in my computer until i get a bit older or what?

This is wonderful work especially for a 14 year old. U should be very proud also I like the surprising figurations and harmonies . U have done very good work here. Continue and when I reaqd u also have preludes and %! etudes I really became jealous and Im ain my 40's. The more you learn and experiment the more wonderful your work will be. pleae make sure you hear modern contemporary work . start with Debussy,, Ravel and Stravinsky and keep going. william Bolcolm is a living composer who has written much good work fo r piano along with Corigliano and Gubaidulina . Check them out on youtube and see how your world will grow. CONGRATULATIONS and I hope to con tinue seeing your fine work here!
