Chordnames
I have a score with the changes written on the Piano part, 3rd and 4th staves down. When I extract parts, these changes do not translate.
1. Is it because they need to be on the top of sttaf 1?
2. Can I simply move them or do they need to be re-entered, as they seem to be tied to the part?

The chord names need to be on each staff in the score that you want them to appear on in the parts.

I guess that I might just as well do the transpositions myself then,
This seems very cumbersome.
I was reading in one of the forum threads that symbols needed to be attached to the top stave to be copied in all parts, similar to system text.
I would request a feature that chords be entered in one place and be selectable as to which part they will apply to, with transposition control,
Should I post a formal request for this feature in the feature request forum?

this is an old request, but i would love to see this as well; system chord names are possible now, but it's either all parts or none. would be great to be able to select which parts have chord names and which don't.

FWIW, that's also something that could be applied to other text elements like dynamics, expression markings, etc. "Staff lists" is how Finale implements this.
