How to delete name of instrument from the score page?
I am writing a score for tenor steel drum, but I don't want to display the name of the instrument. How can I delete the words 'Tenor Steel Drum' from the page?

right click on the stave, select stave properties, empty the fields for long and short instrument name

Thank you. It worked after I updated to version 1.1
right-click on the names themselves and delete. If there are more than one copy of the same name, "select all the same" and delete.
If you are using MuseScore 1.1, click on the instrument and press Del.

Oh right, much easier...
Only changing the text doesn't work that way, like it used t in 1.0 and earlier.

No, but you can right click the instrument name to get at Staff Properties in 1.1, rather than needing to right click on the staff itself as was necessary in 1.0.
