Measure 22 Staff 6 incomplete. Expected: 4/4; Found: 42/48 (???)
Hello musescore, I'm trying to post this ambitious song I'm making but I keep rinning into the same problem. The Error message says "Measure 22 Staff 6 incomplete. Expected: 4/4; Found: 42/48" Is this on the drumset or an instrument?

For troubleshooting, you can use the Status Bar to analyze note parameters (e.g. pitch, duration, beat, measure, staff)

In this image, which includes measure 22 of your score:
you can see that the selected second note (B4) in measure 22 of the trumpet (staff 6) shows beat 1.75 - although it follows the first sixteenth note - so try exchanging voice 1 with any other voice and back again as per step 5 in Jojo's link above.

I understand editing voices say 1-4 but how does one change it back again 4-1?

Via the same menu as the previous exchange. Swap 1-4 is the same as swap 4-1
Thank you Jojo for the answer I've been looking for.
I thought, great, I'll fix up some files I have with rests in voice 1 and notes in voice 4.
I tried this (exchange 1-2, 1-4, select all rest components in score, delete). This worked fine in 5 out of six measures I tried and then .... corrupt measure with only solution being to exchange 1-4 again. I saved the score and reloaded after each edit because once corrupt measure sets in you may or may not be able to fix it with a simple voice exchange.
I think I'll use this solution sparingly in the future.
