how to build chords from notes on different staves
I have a score which contains lots of playable chords split across different staffs,
so as far as musescore is concerned they are not chords. I'd like to merge them
into a single staff as chords in a single voice, not as voice1 and voice 2.
Can someone suggest a way to do this? I have 72 measures which I want to merge.

Select both staves, Tools > Implode twice.

I tried explode and implode, and this is what I got.
That's pretty awful. It seems to try to implode into multiple voices which is exactly what I DON'T want.

However, if I just select the two piano staffs and implode once, I get the following:
Then if I implode a second time, with only the top staff selected, I get something beautiful.
