How to set number of measures each line
I need to format my piece so that all of the rehearsal numbers fall along the left margin of the page. To do this, I need to make most the staffs include 4 measures, but some need 3 or 5 measures. How can I do this?

The way to limit the number of measures on a line is to add line breaks - you can add these form the Breaks & Spacers palette. Or, click a barline and hit Enter to add a break there. If you have a whole section of a piece where you consistently want 4 measures per line, select that section, then go to Edit / Tools / Add/Remove Line Breaks, which allows you to add breaks every 4 (or whatever) measures in one step. Then you can add breaks manually to the line you want to have a different number of measures.
