Using the zoom in tool
This is low priorty, but when one uses the "zoom in" tool, the picture goes to the top of the selected page rather than the area selected.

Reproduced.
The "zoom in" tool zooms in on the top-left corner of the view point regardless of the location of the mouse click. If the top-left corner of the view point happens to be the top of the selected page then it zooms in to that area.
Ctrl+scroll wheel works as expected.
