Multimeasure rests mid-song?
When I enable multimeasure rests, they only combine the extra measures at the very end. Is there any way to make multimeasure rests in the middle of songs?
Here are my settings:

Minimum number of empty measures: 2
Minimum width of measure: 4.00sp

Can you please attach the score with which you are having problems, so that we can see what is happening? It is a bit difficult to understand your issue without seeing the actual .mscz file.
Multimeasure rests are an all-or-nothing setting - they are created for the entire score. If you are seeing a case where you think they should be created but aren't, then something in those measure is preventing MuseScore from combining them. They are either not truly empty (they might contain invisible elements) or else they have been explicitly set to break rests via Measure Properties. As mentioned, if you attach the actual score you are having problems with, we can say more exactly what is going on.
