To allow to choose/select notes related to its vertical position
Hi, gang!!!
I wonder if the next version could add the capability to choose/select more than one note, from any score, but related to its vertical position.
I mean:
Let's say we have the typical G key with Soprano and Alto melody lines, but it wasn't written with MuseScore and, of course, it is not separated into voices.
Then, we want to choose/select only the low notes (Alto) from each "chord" to convert it into the voice Number 2.
Why not to add the option to choose/select only the low note into the Select submenu? ???
We can perform this action today, but... note by note. We have to choose each note at a time up the end of the piece (Or, Maybe I lost something here? ???).
Just an idea.

See the "Explode" command (under Edit / Tools, described in the Handbook under Tools). It automates the process you are describing much better than would be possible by merely selecting the notes and attempting to move them to another voice (which would only work with some major limitations). "Explode" separate the chords onto two staves, but they can then be combined in the usual ways (eg, voice exchange followed by copy/paste), which will again work without all the limitations that would be imposed if you tried to reproduce this effect manually.
