MuseScore 2.0.3 on WindowsXP

I have a written song sheet using one instrument that I am working on. If I
change the instrument and after deleting the current one, when I return to my
song sheet all the written music disappears and I am left with a blank song
sheet. I am using WindowsXP and MuseScore 2.0.3 Can you please help me?

Ans: Try downloading current MuseScore 2.0.3

I have downloaded the current MuseScore 2.0.3 and it makes no difference. If I change instruments through the mixer I can get the sound of some instruments but not all. Of course I must leave the original instrument at the top which cannot be moved or deleted.

I just discovered something new the latest song I have started although I saved it numerous times has now disappeared! After I saved it I naturally did not check to see if it was there because I assumed it was, but I tried loading it and it was gone! I searched my hard drive and it found nothing! Now that's really strange!

I think your program is fantastic though it appears as if I cannot use it. What a shame!!

I'm not really understand your question. If you enter a song with one instrument, then add another instrument and delete the first, of course you are left with a blank sheet - you just deleted the instrument that had the music.

Best to attach the score you are having problems with and describe more precisely what you are doing so we can see what might be going on.

To all those who came to my rescue I thank you so very much.

I have not posted and sheets as of yet because I use MuseScore primarily for songwriting lead sheets and as yet have not any in copyright.
