TAB support

I am really impressed with the new TAB support in the latest nightly (R5161), however there are a couple of ways in which I think it can be improved.

1. Scordatura
Retuning of strings is very prevalent in guitar playing, particularly in the folk and rock genres. Normally scordatura is indicated on the left of the first (and sometimes every) stave in line with the lines which represent the strings. It would be handy to have a radio button to click in the Tab Edit box which would add this automatically, as it is very fiddly to setup using score text.

2. Ability to indicate a stave as TAB from the Create Instruments dialogue - currently you can add staves, and add more linked or unlinked to the part, but not designate them as TAB or not. It would be handy to have a means of doing this - radio button?

Keep up the good work :)

Thanks for the appreciation!

1. Scordatura indications: this has been requested before; there are a few complications, the major one is that note names are language dependent and therefore not easy to add automatically (which language: the user's, the system's, ...; for instance, I have PC's whose system language is English, but locale settings are Italian (I'm Italian) and/or I may want string names in French just for a piece).

2. TAB directly in "Create instruments": Once upon a time, it was kind of possible, via instruments defined as TABbed by default (so, there was a 'normal' stave guitar and a TABbed guitar and so on). This has been removed sometime ago, I do not really know why.

Generally speaking, it makes sense to have TAB's only for specific instruments (mostly stringed: what a TAB radio button would mean for a flute?), so any mechanism has to be tied to the instrument definition(s), in a way or another. But I agree it is would be very convenient.

Thanks,

M.
