Ad libitum time signature
I am having trouble finding the time signature that signals the player (for piano) to play freely (ad libitum). Could you please tell me where it is or how to get it?
Bad description of the symbol: Two crooked vertical lines with one horizontal line (again, crooked) through it.
Thanks.

enter 'ad-lib' then change the tempo marking and make it invisible (press 'V')
If you have an image of it, you can always use that and position it where you want.
I'm not familiar with that particular symbol. Different publishers use different symbols for this, but that's not one I've seen. In general, you can open the Symbols palette (press "Z") and use the search facility to help browse the available options. Pretty much anything in standard use can be found there, since this palette contains all the characters from Bravura, the international standard music notation font. If you don't see what you are looking for, and believe it it should included, you could contact the folks at Steinberg who are in charge of the SMuFL standard and the development of Brauva and request it be added.
