Loading a soundfont causes mixer settings to be lost

Play back a score that uses the native fluid soundfont—a small ensemble is best so you can easily hear the various pan and volume settings.

Go to "Synthesizer > Fluid" and press the ADD button. Click on the Fluid soundfont option. Now listen back to the score again. Open the mixer.

Actual result: (1) You can hear that all of the instrument pan and volume settings have been reset to default. (2) In addition, the visual display in the mixer has not been refreshed and still indicates the previous settings.

Expected result: The pan and volume settings of the score should remain unchanged?
