Including chords symbols in a MIDI file

In saving a MuseScore composed lead sheet as a MIDI file, is it possible currently to have the chord symbols included?

Could you explain a litte why you wish to see this happen?
Are you aware of a format called MusicXML which does store chord names?

Thanks for responding. In answer to your question, my typical procedure is this: After composing a song in lead sheet form using MuseScore, I export it as a MIDI file to Jammer Pro, an arranging program similar to Band-In-A-Box (after which, I export it as a new MIDI file into Sonar for vocals, etc.).

In Jammer Pro, I need to put in chord symbols around which an arrangement is composed. Since the chord symbols are already part of the lead sheet, it would save a lot of effort and time if they could be included in the MIDI file.

Unfortunately, MIDI just has no way to record that sort ofi formation - it's not the right format to use. If Jammer Pro doesn't support MusicXML - which would be the right format to use - then you'll have to enter the chords manually.
