Spacing between staves (within a system) in a single place

I want to first express my appreciation for those who have created/developed this software and who spend time answering questions like the one I'm about to ask (this is the 3rd question I've asked so far in this forum).
I've searched and haven't yet found a solution-- sorry again if this has been discussed.
In short, is it possible to increase the space between two staves within a system on a single page without impacting the layout in the rest of the score?
