What does the TAB clef do in musescore 1.2?
I know that there is great progress towards TAB notation in MS 2.0, but I also see a "TAB" option in the clef palette for version 1.2. What does the TAB clef do in MS1.2?

I think it does nothing. it's a G clef with a costume of TAB clef.

thanks for the info. My purpose in asking was to see if MS1.2 has a way to render something that looks like tablature, even just as graphic elements, and so provide a means to create and post scores with regular staff notation along with "for display-only" tablature lines to musescore.com (which I assume is restricted to MS1.2 files)
