Bass Lick Notation
I'm having a heck of a time figuring out how to write out this lick so it's not an eyesore and/or confusing.
Any thoughts?

It's a short bit that a musician can throw into an improvisation with little effort.
Like this?
It makes the beats more visible which is the important thing for readability.
But perhaps that staccato is not necessary if the end of measure 2 is actually the same rhythm as the end of measure 1.
