Trouble Converting PDF to MSCZ – Stuck on "Processing"

Hi everyone,

I'm a band teacher at a very small school where our high school band class falls during the elective period. Because of this, I often have a very unique and limited group of students — usually between 6 and 12. Finding suitable music for such a small and varied ensemble can be quite challenging.

Over the past few years, I’ve relied heavily on Flex-band arrangements and sometimes adapted wind ensemble music by transposing parts into appropriate keys for our instrumentation. To make this process more efficient, I’ve been using MuseScore’s PDF import feature to convert sheet music into MSCZ files. This has been a huge help in making quick edits and transpositions.

However, something seems to have changed recently. Since last week, any PDFs I upload just stay stuck in the "processing" stage and never complete the conversion. I’m not sure if something changed over the summer, but the feature no longer seems to work for me.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a known issue or workaround? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!
