Mario medley

Hello. I am trying to make a Mario Kart medley of all the songs in Mario Kart history except Tour (because Tour sucks). But when I change instruments, the instruments on the "Instrument Pallatte (between Pallettes and Properties) don't change when I change them in the score. Example, if I change Piano to Viola, it still says "Piano" on the Instruments pallette. Help?
