Title page woes
Generally speaking, is the title page numbered? So the first page of the actual music is p2? I attached a screenshot which won't display here, hopefully you can see it.
ALSO: I can't seem to control the font type and size on my title page. I want it to look cool, like something Schirmer or Int'l Music Co would do. Not sure MuseScore even allows that. Help!

Musescore does not know "title page". Its the first page. Its on you (the User) to put score on the first page or a graphic or whatever. Musescore does not analyze it. Its the first page. Whatever it shows.
I recommend not to use Musescore for creating beautiful titles, instead i export the score to PDF and add a title page to the PDF File (using special PDF Software like PDFSam or similar). I can use any office tool to create title pages. Musescore comes with some attribute options, but i dont know, how sophisticated these are (as i dont use it). In Musescore you need to add frames and text lines, but i dont know how powerfull it is. An office programm like LIbreOffice Draw or Writer probably is superior.
Do you need the title page in your score, or in the printed sheet?

That's very good advice, rhalstenbach, thank you.
Slightly different question: for a work in progress, with many changes on some pages, none on others, I put the modification date in the footer. My scores are only 5 or 6 pp, so maybe that's overkill. But what do you do?

Nothing.
