Frame question
How do I add a Frame so it sits just before the beginning of the lyrics, ie, under the Treble Clef?
I need to insert a song number - no room for title or number above the score.(condensing for viewing music [jpegs] on an ipad).
Have tried - Select 1st Measure
then - Create > Measures > Insert Vertical Frame
= nothing.

I don't thibnk you can do that with frames.
I would try using Stave text and then dragging to the position you require.

Would this suit your needs (see attached)? Click on the first note, press [Ctrl]-M (or Create->Text->Rehearsal Mark). Insert your number and drag this "mini-frame" down to where you want it.
