How to correctly share and score Trad Jazz songs
This is my first post, and I just started using MuseScore.
My first incentive to use it was to score a song from my Bb book "Dixieland Bb Real Book" which I got on amazon - has about 400 trad jazz songs.
I play sax and wanted to transpose a song into bass clef and change the key down two accidentals for our trombone player. There IS NO BOOK for her in bass clef or I would have her buy it. So my questions are:
is it legal to score this for use within our band?
can I share my file(s) with others?
Obviously, if others out there are doing this I could save time by taking their file and transposing/changing clef. What is the best forum to do this?
Thanks.

Ciao sfullman, welcome.
I think on your book there is a warning 'All rights reserved' so maybe it's better to use caution.
eg see: https://musescore.org/en/node/153826
Drawing from prior experience with people who do understand the nuances of copyright law, yes for 1, no for 2 (unless they also have purchased the original book).
