Instruments menu missing
Hi. I have a problem with displaying the instruments menu on MuseScore. When I go to try and edit the instrument line-up in any particular score, the program acts as if the menu is displaying (i.e. the rest of the program is frozen and will not respond to any attempt to interact with it), however, the instruments menu window fails to show up. I've tried to see whether any other windows related to MuseScore are present, and even go to other desktops on my computer to check, but there's nothing, and I'm forced to force shutdown MS using Task Manager and reboot the program. I use a Windows 10 laptop and a second display monitor, and I frequently switch between using the second display and just my laptop. I fear this frequency of switching may have contributed to the problem, but I have no clue how to fix it. Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds like your window moved off the screen somehow. When the window is obviously open press alt-space, m, any arrow key and it will appear where you mouse is and stay stuck to it until you press escape.
