separating notes for same hand

I need to have a chord on the right hand with an f and an e. the problem is, the notes need to be separate because the bottom f is a dotted quarter note, while the top e is an eighth note. you can see this in the beginning of the 7th chord of the piano part in the attachment. Thanks to anyone who can help!
