How should randomly-accessed repeat section play at the end?
If you begin playback during a repeat section (or click to it from elsewhere), how should it continue when it gets to the end of it?
Should it play the first or second volta, etc? Currently, the first volta is played, but what if you want the second?
Maybe there could be a dialogue that asks you to select which, but what do others think?
This also applies to general repeats.

As stated, as of e01abe4080 the first repeat is always played. If you want the second, you can use right arrow, or ctrl + right arrow to fast forward to the second time. You can also deactivate the playback of repeat id you like.
I don't like the dialog idea, since a dialog always go in your way when you are doing something.
It has been suggested that dialogue boxes interrupt the user's train of thought, but I think it could appear after pressing 'Play' and another button on the keyboard, or holding the play button down using a mouse.
Maybe something a little different?
Maybe a drop-down list on the toolbar?

I like the current behavior and I don't see a need for an option currently.
