Program doesn´t work
Hi! I have windows 7. When I launch Musescore 1.2, Windows says that program stopped working, and it will shut down.
What might be the problem? I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the program but that doesn`t work.

Thank´s, but that didn`t help:( I also tried musescore 1.1 and the same thing happened again. I also checked the incompatibilities- list and found nothing that could cause the problem.

I got it now open in "no playback mode", it doesn´t open in the normal mode. My soundcard is Steinberg CI1, could that have something to do with this?

Possible, but it is not listed @ http://musescore.org/en/handbook/known-incompatibilities
Interestingly sibelius 6 also crashes at startup when "initializing playback".

Can you check if you have any of the thing mentioned in Known incompatibilities ? Do you use an ASIO driver?

I didn´t notice any incompatibilities. I use Yamaha Steinberg USB driver. I also had ZOOM H2 USB miscrophones ASIO driver installed in my laptop, but i uninstalled it and it didn`t help.
Thanks. I found digidesign driver and uninstalled it so now the prgram works. Sorry for the trouble.

If you have Xfinity with Constant Gaurd TRY
Click on Constant Gaurd and enter your Pin.
TAB to Options
Go down to Additional Options
Click on Manage My "Blocked Programs" Rules
Enter your Pin
In the dropdown list of programs, Click the Allow radio button next to Mscore.exe.
That's how I fixed mine.
