Musescore 0.9.4 - eeeubuntu 3.0 (based on ubuntu 9.0.4) sound problem

I recently changed my OS from Ubuntu 9.0.4 to eeeubuntu.

Musescore worked fine on jaunty but i get the following errors on startup on eeeubuntu and playback does not work:

Suspending PulseAudio
Alsa_driver: the interface doesn't support mmap-based access.
init ALSA audio driver failed
init ALSA driver failed
init audio driver failed
sequencer init failed

NOTE : I would prefer to use eeeubuntu as it has resolved other issues.
