saving Musescore to *XML
I followed your instructions re: saving a Musescore file in *XML
format. When I tried to save it in that format in the 'save as' box, that
choice was not available.
Please help.

Use export rather than save as.
You may have followed the instructions for 1.x. In 2., it is under Export
