Staves,notes

Dear Mr.Kuwitt,

Thank you very much for fast response on my questions.
I have another questions on my subject.

I. I did everything that you mentioned:"There seems to be a bug of overlapping rests/notes between voices. You can correct this with the inspector via changing the vertical offset (before: select a rest, right click->select-> more...->same voice; then changing the offset)"
I have following questions:
A. Arrows for Vertical offset work opposite:I click up the rest goes down and click down rest goes up.
Please advice.
B. Is it possible after I clicking and choose the level of rest to remember level and not click each time for right place of the rest, too many actions.Any shortcut?

II. I was informed before about deleting files - File -> Open -> click on "Clear recent files" and I want to be sure that not to have a problem deleting new made files.
When I open a program I see all files that I made (please see an Attachment -Help5) or I opened Attachments that were sent to me by MuseScore.
A.I want to know how delete 1,2 and the rest continue to stay on this open screen.

B. When I will do File -> Open -> click on "Clear recent files",will I delete all saved files in MuseScore folder? So,I will loose everything?

C.When I click on Help and after on Revert to Factory Settings, will this action delete all saved my files or
just settings in program that I choose?

Once again, thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Mark

Clearing recent files and reverting to factory settings only clears them from the menu, all scores on you computer will remain untouched.

There isn't a shortcut for select all similar... via right click.

But in MuseScore you've different possibilities to select more than one element, see:

https://musescore.org/de/node/41601

For example for selecting multiple individual elemements select an element (for example a rest in the example from your last request), press Ctrl and select the other elements you want to change (for example the other rests).

Concerning your second request: As mike said, after "clear recent files" you can load again your files from MuseScore folder with "open...". The same after "Revert to Factory Settings"

You can only clear the whole list (but be sure your files were not deleted).

1. A. Yes, the arrows control the numbers, and up means a higher number, which does indeed move things down.

1. B. In general, the automatic positioning already works best for most cases. In the few it doesn't, you will often need a *different* adjustment for each case, so it is best to just do this case by case yourself.
