Additional Staff from Bar 70 onwards
Hello everybody. I am new to using the software. Running version 1.2 on a Macintosh computer.
I require some help. I wish to add an additional (Soprano) Staff from bar 70 onwards only. I have tried to add an instrument, but this adds a second Soprano Staff to the whole document. I only require the additional Staff from Bar 70 to the end of the music piece. To illustrate this clearly, I have taken a photo of what I mean. Please see the attachment.
I would be grateful for anyone assistance. Thank you.

Thank you for the tip Jojo. I went into Style>Edit General Style... and ticked the hide empty staves checkbox and pressed OK. Unfortunately, nothing happened.

Of course you need to add that additional staff first, enter the notes as required, possibly adjust where you place line breakes, then set 'hide empty staves'

Also, since there nay besome systems with empty staves you don,t want hidden, you may need to place invisible notes in a fewotherwise empty measuresto prevent those stavesfrm being hdden.
But assuming you already added your extra staffand put notesi its from 90 onward, the changeon Hide Empty Staves should be immediate and obvious - that staff will disappear until the system containing bar 90.

I did the steps again. It did not work the first time. I did the steps again in the same sequence but this time it worked! Must be a bug in the program, or at least a delay in applying the filter. Thank you so much for your help. That has helped.
