Do not show tabs for parts
I noticed that for large orchestral pieces (>30 pages or more), having all the parts show up as different tabs on Musescore strains the computer. It slows down navigation noticeably.
Is is possible to turn off this, and show only the full score?

You can't disable extracted parts, but you can delete them. If you need them you can do 1 of 2 things. Extract them again later (using new all) or save the score with no parts to a separate file.
I have not heard of people claiming that extracted parts slow down navigation. I've had problems without extracting parts having my large orchestra songs slow way down after about 100-150 measures. Others have problems when the navigator is turned on. For some reason resizing it slightly improves this considerably.

Thanks for the reply. Indeed, without the parts extracted, I could navigate as usual.
So the moral of the story is: do not extract the parts until the very end!
