Green for active Midi Connection. Red for non Active?
My midi connection isn't active when I start more than 75% of the time....
I don't know why. I often have to restart MuseScore and unplug and replug my cables.
What would be helpful is if the midi Icon in the corner had colors. Red Dead MIDI. Green Active MIDI.

You need to start MuseScore after connecting & turning on the keyboard. If you do that, it should work all the time. If not, maybe try Help / Revert to Factory Settings, and/or check out the Handbook under "Known incompatibilities".
