Why is "alt" in chordname so large but the C7 (for example) regular size? 2.1
I am using 2.1 today and I have been experimenting with changing various parameters in the style menus, trying to stabilize a style for my charts rather than doing each one separately.
Things have been going quite well.
However I changed some parameter (don't know which one) and I loaded a score with "alt" for alternate in the chord symbols and applied the new style to it.
At that point the chord symbols did not change size but the letters "alt" did.
Where did I change that, so I can change it back? Thanks.

Hard to say - we'd need you to attach the score and/or precise steps to reproduce the problem. Applying a new style to a score has somewhat inconsistent results when it comes to text elements, sometimes you need to hit the "Reset Text to Style" button in the Inspector for the change to take effect. But this shouldn't normally be an issue for chord symbols. On the other hand, the Jazz style works differently from the Standard style for chord symbols, so if your style file changed this setting, then it would be expected you'd see some sizes change.

First, this is how it looks for me - are you seeing something different from this?
This was the default rendering of "7alt" chords in the old 1.x "cchords_muse" style that you appear to be using. If you change to the new "Jazz" style in Style / General / Chord Symbols, the "alt" is no longer superscripted, but it is otherwise similar.

In Style / General / Chord Symbols, you have set the style to cchords_muse.xml, which was the old obsolete 1.X chord description file. It appears perhaps you customized that file at one time and that is why you are seeing something different from me. I'm guessing this happened years ago, and your customizations are no longer compatible with 2.0, or something like that. What happens if you remove one of those chords symbols and retype it?
Rather than sort that out, better to just change to the "Jazz" style using the radio buttons rather than continue to rely on the obsolete 1.x chord files. Those old files will prevent some of the "new" features (well, two years old now!) features of chord symbols from working properly.
