Swap
I'm working on updating the handbook. I was going to update the new Swap command, but I think I already had the default shortcut used, so MS 2.1 didn't install it on my computer. I want to make sure the default short cut is ctrl-shift-X.

A 'revert to factory settings' should show. If you had modified shortcuts in 2.0, the upgrade to 2.1 won't overwrite.
Or look at https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/blob/2.1/mscore/data/shortcuts.x…

Nice if that means we can backup keyboard shortcuts, not to lost them prior to revert settings to factory ?

revert to factory setting would lose customized shortcuts, the plain upgrade to 2.1 won't, so won't set the shortcuts for swap

You can do like I did when I did a revert to factory settings and print the shortcuts to a PDF file that I referenced to put them back. I did change the interfering short cut because I rarely use it so I look it up when I need it anyway.

or backup and restore the shortcuts.xml file
