You would need to put in a feature request through the Issue tracker to the right of these post and someone may decide they want to implement that. I don't think it's unreasonable at all. It is extremely unlikely to be implemented before version 3.0 since 2.1 is being officially released any day.
Since it doesn't exist right now, you can probably adjust the leading and trailing spaces of the notes around it instead. If you can then move the breath/pause to a good spot.
