File manager bookmarks overridden by MuseScore for other applications

1. In an application using the same file manager to open/save documents as MuseScore (tested applications: Krita (latest appimage from Krita website) and SMPLayer (distro version)), open the open/save file menu and add some folders to the bookmarks on the left pane.
2. Close the application.
3. Open MuseScore.
4. Open a save/open file menu. Note the bookmarks that appear.
5. Close MuseScore.
6. Open the app used to assign bookmarks.

Expected result: the bookmarks assigned by the user should be kept.

Actual result: the bookmarks are overridden with whatever MuseScore was displaying last as the bookmarks. This is a rather serious interference with my workflow on other programs.

System: Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon, 64-bit.
