Downloading to Upgrade from 1.2 to 1.3 fails (OS X Mountain Lion)

• Feb 28, 2013 - 17:32

Hello: The download seems to complete just fine. I click on the downloaded .dmg file and it installs so that I can drag the icon to my Applications folder. The copying seems to work fine. However, I hear a low beep (as if something bad happened) and then I get a message that "Musescore is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to Trash" Any ideas? Thank you! J. Jennings

The package was badly signed so Gatekeeper in Mountain Lion complained. The issue has been resolved as a new dmg is available now. You can download it again. Let us know how it works out.

Hello: I was successful in downloading 1.3 so you were successful in resolving that issue. However, one of my tests involved playing back one of my pieces. It had always played back perfectly, before this. Playback does respond but there is a new echo on each note and the sound is distorted, as if I'm tuning in a faraway radio station. ALSO, you may remember I reported a minor issue, that clicking on a .mscz file should BOTH start Musescore as well as open the file. I note that, as before, the software starts but the file must again be found and selected from that session, in a separate step. I checked to be sure I was running Version 1.3. ---- So, while we've been successful in getting my Mac to download Version 1.3, there are still issues. Thanks for your help! J. Jennings
