Feature request: Access Scores in Songbook App when offline

• May 19, 2017 - 14:20

Unless I'm missing something, I'm unable to access any of my scores in the Songbook app when I'm not connected to the internet.

This would be a really convenient feature to have -- to be able to access scores in the app for offline viewing.

With the MuseScore Songbook App you can have your scores accessible offline. Only with the MuseScore Player App you can't. Actually this is the main (or even only) difference between the 2.

Is there a way to copy all of the .mscz files from my PC to my iPad in one go, so that MuseScore Songbook can open them, or do I have to slavishly open each one, inside Songbook, to get them added to its list?

I use Wifi as little as I can - which is very little. I can't remember the last time I turned it on. I don't really want to have to have it on to use Songbook, which may explain why I've hardly used it since I bought it. If I could get all my tunes on there easily, like copying a folder, I'd probably use it a lot more.

Well, I found a solution, and I tried to post about it. I wrote all the instructions out as clearly as I could, in a text file, then tried to paste them into a new thread.

I was forced to give up.

Even pasting in a paragraph at a time is completely unworkable.

Your forum does not work properly, any more. At least not in this browser. Maybe not at all.

The instructions would have been here:
