Re: spam attacks. Auto return to "recent posts".
There are so many of these lately it's mind boggling.
I go to them and mark them as spam. It's all I can do.
However there are so many of them, it would be a great boon if one was automatically returned to the "recent posts" site on triggering the "mark as spam" option.

I realize you and Thomas are not always available to delete the spam attacks all the time and human intervention is necessary to prevent a computer from suspending the someone in error. I'm curious how marking a post as spam works. I often mark several spams from an attack and a few more show up before it stops. I think everyone has accidentally marked a post a spam, so one report should not cause any automatic action. I would suggest that a user with 2 or 3 posts that are marked as spam should automatically cause the user account to be immediately be suspended pending review by you or Thomas. The offending user should also have all of his posts hidden from the other users. This will help prevent having 20 spam posts before they are stopped. I know the new site is imminent so you may already have a similar or better fix in the works.

I agree. However, my original post suggests a way to make it easier for some of us. I sometimes mark perhaps 12, maybe more. :)

We are very much aware on how much this is wearing us all down. Indeed, the site upgrade will allow us to experiment faster with anti-spam strategies. Hopefully this convince Indian spammers to stop trying to spread their love.
