Swing 8th Notes
I think it would be a good idea to have a feature where you can choose to have the 8th notes swung so we don't have to write out quarter triplet with 8th triplet to have that feel. It would be great when arranging a jazz piece or a big band piece.

This already exists, for now, in Display / Play Panel. But there is no corresponding feature in the upcoming release of yet. Of course since the primary purpose of MuseScore is the notation, not the playback, one would normally choose to write in eighth notes even if the playback is not correct, as writing out triplets would be wrong and would just annoy and confuse anyone trying to read the music.

Indeed, but that wasn't the case back in 2013 when this thread was started :-)
