Colour change of cursor when changing voice

Hello,
Did notice this problem a long time ago but did not give much attention to it.
But now I am making a piece where I have a lot of different voicing notes to enter, so here is the problem:
When changing from voice no.1 to number 2 and/or 3 using the 'Crtl+Alt+ the (voice)number', then the colour of the cursor changes accordingly. But when I want to go back to voice no.1 and using the short cut, no colour change of the cursor takes place. You have to enter a note first to get the colour change.
Is there a way to correct this?
