MacOS Build : "make -f Makefile.osx xcode" fails if QT is not installed in the user's home directory

I installed QT in a directory other than my home directory (really, home directory!?!?!?!).

The command "make -f Makefile.osx xcode" failed to find it in the alternate location.

WORKAROUND: symlink it into my home directory
