no ligatures for "mf" and "sfz" etc.
I use:
MuseScore 0.9.5, Revision: expo, Ubuntu 9.04 on Acer TravelMate 5210
Dynamics: "mf", "sfz" etc. should be a ligature (double letter). The distance between "m" and "f" is too large and it looks not professional. (Left bar in the example.) It's a pity because the music with MuseScore looks so great!
I use the "feta-alphabet14.pfb" font from lilypond with size 22. This one has ligatures and looks very similar to MScore1-font. If you take this free font as standart for dynamics, it would look better. (Right bar in the example.)

I fixed the width and kerning of the f character in r.2048. Since the shape of the letters doesn't change it doesn't really need a ligature.

Thank you for fixing. You are right, it is not a "real" ligature. So I look forward to the next version of MuseScore for download.
